Throughout the development process, multiple mockups and functional prototypes were produced to evaluate ergonomics, user interaction, component packaging, assembly methods, and the overall visual balance of the product. Each iteration helped refine proportions, improve usability, and validate construction techniques before producing the final working prototype.
WAFOU Light progressed from early concept sketches through CAD development, electronics integration, fabrication, and functional prototyping. The completed prototype was exhibited during the university's annual industrial design exhibition, where it generated significant public interest for its modular interaction, craftsmanship, and contemporary interpretation of traditional Japanese design principles.
